Hmmm. Whatever happened to Stevie Nicks singing, "tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies...".
The poem is in stark conflict with the picture and yet both convey powerful images.Powerful and evocative.
The poem I love as it has an element of vitriol and bile mixed from ?(hurt?)(pain?) not my fucking biz I guess and the picture is like any sunset or sunrise staggeringly beautiful.
What is that fantastic building in the picture?
I REALLy like this one. This is exactly why I stupefy myself with excessive quantities of beer when I'm down. I'd rather be an alcholic than a patsy.

Reminds me of a scene from Constantine for some reason. That "fantastic" building is a cellphone Tower!!!
Cellphone towers can be staggeringly beautiful of course.
I like the poem very much. I guess lies can be very entertaining - if you know they're lies.
If I were your editor I think I'd make the last line -
By alcohol than by your lies.
